Water treatment for concrete and stone processing

The ideal solution for smaller companies

The compact water treatment systems from PREXOR are perfect for smaller companies that work in the marble, granite, stone or gravel processing industry. Thanks to the particularly small dimensions, no foundation or construction work is required to install the system, which can be operated fully automatically. The system can also be moved to another location without any major effort.

For larger volumes, built-in solutions are also available.

Functionality

The coarse residues are removed from the used water of the concrete recycling plant via a separating screw. While the residues are ready for reuse, the dirty water is fed into an external tank with agitator. The dirty water is pumped under pressure into a filter press without first having to pass through a clarifier or a flocculant silo. The water cleaned in this way is pumped back into the production cycle, while the solids remaining in the filter press are separated out as a "filter cake" with a residual moisture content of less than 20%. 6 such cleaning cycles are carried out per hour. With the help of the external centrifugal pump, water is pressed in "countercurrent" through the filter cloths, the sludge feed line and the pump and thus cleaned. The dirty water is returned to the collection basin of the washing plant.

Advantages

Advantage 1)

This system does not require any flocculant

Advantage 2)

The vertical open channel centrifugal pump or submersible pump used in this system provides better filtration performance than a volumetric pump and eliminates the need for routine maintenance.

Advantage 3)
“Countercurrent” washing is the most efficient way to remove unavoidable residues from the filter press fabrics.

Advantage 4)

The waste water and the water clarified by filtration always remain separate, even during the washing phase.
